Auction Date for World's-First T-Rex Leather™ Handbag

We are proud to announce a major update on the planned auction of the world’s first luxury handbag made from T-Rex Leather™.

The handbag, developed by BSF Enterprise PLC’s wholly owned subsidiary Lab-Grown Leather Ltd, has now been officially featured in the upcoming auction catalogue by Hôtel Drouot, the prestigious Paris-based auction house.

Following a rigorous appraisal process, Drouot has set an official estimate of €500,000 for the world-first luxury asset.

The auction is scheduled to take place on 11 June 2026, both online and in person.

The T-Rex Leather™ handbag represents a landmark moment for BSF Enterprise PLC and Lab-Grown Leather Ltd, demonstrating how bioengineered materials can move beyond the laboratory and into the worlds of luxury, design and cultural value.

The project brings together Lab-Grown Leather Ltd, The Organoid Company, VML and Berlin-based designer Enfin Levé, combining tissue engineering, creative strategy, genomic design and high-end product craftsmanship.

T-Rex Leather™ has already attracted global attention following its reveal and public exhibition in Amsterdam. BSF Enterprise PLC has also reported a significant increase in inbound commercial interest, with Lab-Grown Leather Ltd now in preliminary discussions with several global Tier-1 brands across luxury, sportswear and automotive sectors.

These conversations are focused on highly limited, bespoke collaborations and long-term material development, rather than mass-market commercialisation, in order to preserve the exclusivity and value of the Company’s initial bio-material yields.

The auction marks another visible proof point for BSF Enterprise PLC’s wider strategy: using Industrial Tissue Engineering to create high-value materials and technologies across luxury materials, cultivated meat, cell culture media and corneal repair.

While there can be no guarantee that the auction will result in a sale, the inclusion of the T-Rex Leather™ handbag in the Hôtel Drouot catalogue represents a significant milestone for Lab-Grown Leather Ltd and the wider BSF Enterprise PLC Group.
