3DBT agrees to provide a major multinational leather fashion house with three bio-engineered samples of animal skin tissue.
The partnership is designed to look at the validity and suitability of 3DBT’s cultivated skin as a sustainable and ethical solution to traditional production and tanning of leather goods.
July 2023
BSF partners with Biozol, a global leader in science distribution, to distribute City-Mix™ across Germany.
Biozol, with a portfolio of over 6 million SKUs, engages with more than 14,000 companies worldwide.
September 2023
3DBT receives a €612,000 grant from EIT Food to explore expanding City-Mix™ production capacity by 5x, aiming for 12,500L annually.
BSF engages with a leading Fortune 500 pharmaceutical supplier, which has purchased several vials of City-Mix for evaluation.
November 2023
BSF enters into a proof-of-concept agreement with one of the world’s largest cosmetic companies to test the suitability of 3DBT’s proprietary lipopeptide, Etsyl, in skin cream formulations.
February 2024
BSF signs a MoI-J with Paris-based fashion company Amelie Pichard to collaborate on developing and selling fashion using lab-grown leather.
In addition, a successful collaboration with a renowned French luxury brand over the past year paves the way for an exciting new commercial partnership.
March 2024
BSF Enterprise has expanded to Hong Kong to access the Greater China market, a major global consumer of meat and leather products.
The company has partnered with other cultivated meat, lab-grown leather, and regenerative medicine biotech partners to establish a distribution and collaboration network to raise capital and develop cultivated meat facilities in China.
June 2024
In partnership with the University of Northampton, Lab-Grown Leather Ltd unveils two 100% lab-grown leather samples at the Future Fabrics Expo in London.
The bio-engineered leather samples, identical to real leather, attracts attention from media outlets like Insider Media and Fashion United.
August 2024
The team produces an 100% animal skin tissue measuring up to 10x10cm in size and over 2mm in thickness, substantially building on the 0.5mm thickness displayed at the Future Fabrics Expo.
Additional leather engagement commences with renowned French luxury brand.

Kerato Ltd partnered with the University of Montreal to develop an injectable, in-situ gelling treatment for corneal damage, leveraging tissue engineering to reduce the need for full corneal transplants.
This novel therapy, targeting a large underserved market, aims to reduce healthcare costs and improve patient outcomes by facilitating corneal repair with minimal hospital time and a lower risk of rejection.
