The US Patent and Trademark Office has issued a Notice of Allowance for our subsidiary 3D Bio-Tissues' patent application covering "Collagen Production", the technology behind our bioactive peptide ETSYL®. This confirms the patent claims have met all requirements for novelty, inventive step and patentability. Once we pay the standard issue fee ahead of the December 2026 deadline, the patent will proceed to formal issuance and registration.

This matters because the United States is the largest commercial market globally for anti-ageing skincare and bioactive peptide formulations. The allowed claims protect our methods for using ETSYL® to stimulate collagen production, giving us intellectual property protection across North America.

It also strengthens the commercial footing of our worldwide exclusive agreement with SCHAKAU Managementberatung GmbH for ETSYL® in cosmetics and luxury beauty. Patent backing of this kind supports long-term product sales and licensing under that partnership.

ETSYL® was originally developed within our tissue-engineering research to accelerate collagen synthesis in lab-grown structures. This allowance confirms the same platform has commercial value in high-value cosmetic actives, showing the technology's reach across both our core research and commercial applications.

Our CEO, Che Connon, described the allowance as an important validation of the platform science developed at 3D Bio-Tissues, and said it gives commercial partners verified intellectual property exclusivity in the world's largest beauty market.
